Based in New York and London, CD&R’s investment professionals include people who have skills either financing businesses or managing companies. The Firm's Operating Partners have collectively spent over 400 years in senior management positions across a range of industry sectors, notably Aon Hewitt, Danaher, Emerson Electric, GE, Johnson & Johnson, Marsh & McLennan, Pepsi, Plex Systems, Quest Software, SunGard, and Unilever.
Mr. Agarwal joined CD&R in 2020 and is principally engaged in evaluating investment opportunities in the technology sector. He played a key role in the Firm’s investment in Epicor. Prior to joining CD&R, Mr. Agarwal spent almost ten years at EQT Partners and TPG Capital. He began his career in the technology, media, and telecom group of the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs & Co.
Mr. Agarwal joined CD&R in 2020 and is principally engaged in evaluating investment opportunities in the technology sector. He played a key role in the Firm’s investments in Cloudera and Epicor. Mr. Agarwal also serves as a member of the Firm’s Inclusion Committee. Previously, he held positions at EQT Partners and TPG Capital and worked in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs & Co. Mr. Agarwal has an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in business administration from the Washington University in St. Louis, Olin Business School.

Mr. Babiarz has been with the Firm for 31 years and specializes in structuring complex financings and managing the Firm’s relationships with debt providers. He has played a key role in all of CD&R’s investments during his tenure, including AssuraMed, Atkore, B&M Retail, BCA, Brand Industrial Services, Diversey, Envision Healthcare, Healogics, Hertz, Hussmann, Kalle Group, Mauser Group, Cornerstone Building Brands, PharMEDium, Rexel, Sally Beauty, ServiceMaster, SiteOne Landscape Supply, Solenis, SPIE, TRANZACT, TruGreen, Univar, US Foods, and Wilsonart. Previously, he worked in mergers and acquisitions at Drexel Burnham Lambert, Inc.

Mr. Banga joined CD&R's London office in 2010 after a 33-year career at Unilever, where he served as executive board member and president of Global Foods, Home & Personal Care businesses. He was also responsible for Unilever's sustainability agenda. Previously, Mr. Banga served as president, Home & Personal Care Asia and as chairman and managing director of Unilever's operating company in India, Hindustan Unilever Ltd. Mr. Banga played the lead operating role on CD&R's investments in Diversey and Mauser Group and helped establish the Firm's joint venture in India. He serves as Chair of UK Government Investments, appointed by the Economic Secretary to the Treasury. He served on the Prime Minister of India's Council of Trade & Industry from 2004 to 2014. Mr. Banga is the senior independent non-executive director on the board of GlaxoSmithKline plc, and was previously the senior independent director on the board of Marks and Spencer plc. Mr. Banga was appointed chairman of Marie Curie in 2018, non-executive director of The Economist Group Board in 2020, and a director of the International Chamber of Commerce (UK chapter) in 2021.

Mr. Banga has an M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management and a B.Tech. in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology.

Ms. Beggs joined CD&R in 2020 after advising the Firm for 16 years. She is responsible for leading human capital at the Firm, as well as driving people and organizational related initiatives aligned with value creation at portfolio companies. Ms. Beggs continues to be involved with the CD&R HR Council to coach and mentor CD&R portfolio company HR leaders. Her demonstrated thought leadership and passion for diversity and inclusion supports the Firm’s strong commitment to DE&I. Most recently, Ms. Beggs was a partner at PwC where she led a consulting practice that specialized in value creation through a people and organization lens. She spent the early years of her career as a pensions actuary and subsequently specialized in optimizing the human capital aspects of deals.
Ms. Beggs joined CD&R in 2020 after advising the Firm for 16 years. She is responsible for leading human capital at the Firm, including diversity and inclusion, as well as driving people and organizational related initiatives aligned with value creation at portfolio companies. She chairs the Firm’s Inclusion Committee and is involved in the Firm's Sustainability Council. Previously, Ms. Beggs was a partner at PwC where she led a consulting practice that specialized in value creation through a people and organization lens. Ms. Benedek joined CD&R in 2022 and is based in Europe. She focuses on the supply chains and works with the procurement leaders at the Firm’s European portfolio companies. Ms. Benedek joined CD&R after a 20+ year career at GE, most recently, at GE Renewable Energy in Budapest, where she served as Program Manager. Before that, she was the Strategic Initiatives Leader. In that role, she created and executed the vision of a Special Task Force Team to address high impact supply chain problems across the GE Renewable Energy businesses. Ms. Benedek has an M.B.A.in finance and economics from the University of Technology and Economics in Budapest, Hungary.
Ms. Benedek joined CD&R in 2022 after a 20+ year career at GE. Most recently, she served as the New Product Launch Program Director at GE Renewable Energy, where she developed and executed the risk mitigation strategy to ensure a successful on time launch of GE’s Haliade-X offshore wind turbine. Before that, she created and executed the vision of a Special Task Force Team to address high impact supply chain problems across the businesses. Previously, she led a strategic initiative to build a Supply Chain Center of Excellence in Hungary focused on developing new, low-cost suppliers in emerging regions. Ms. Benedek has also held Global Commodity Leader roles in GE Energy, where she was responsible for $900 million in annual spend of highly engineered products. Ms. Benedek has an M.B.A. in finance and economics from the University of Technology and Economics in Budapest, Hungary and a B.A. in logistics and economics from the Budapest Business School.

Mr. Berges joined the Firm in 2006 and is a member of the Investment Committee. Previously, he served as vice chairman and president at Emerson Electric Co., where he led corporate growth and development activities and was responsible for the Company’s motors and appliance components, industrial automation, and network power businesses. Prior to Emerson, he worked at General Electric Company. Mr. Berges served as chairman of Sally Beauty Holdings from 2006 to 2012, chairman of HD Supply from 2007 to 2014, chairman of Hussmann International from 2011 to 2016, and director of Diversey from 2009 to 2011, during CD&R’s investments in those companies. He is a director of PPG Industries, Inc. and former chairman of the National Association of Manufacturers. Mr. Berges received a presidential appointment to the Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations in 2005.

Mr. Berutti is the former CEO of Plex Systems, a software provider to the manufacturing sector. He has over 25 years of experience as a senior executive and leader in the enterprise software industry. Previously Mr. Berutti served as President of BMC Software, a SaaS and software solutions provider, where he led the Cloud and Enterprise Solutions segments representing $1.5 billion in annual revenue. Prior to that, Mr. Berutti spent 17 years at PTC Inc., a publicly traded industrial software company, in various roles including sales, leading corporate development, and as a member of the executive team running the service lifecycle management business unit. Mr. Berutti has a B.S. in business administration from Miami University.

Ms. Chandra joined CD&R in 2023 as Director of External Affairs, Europe. Prior to joining CD&R, Ms. Chandra held both senior producer and senior reporter roles at Bloomberg Television in New York, Washington D.C., and London. She covered financial markets, consumer/retail companies, and international politics. Ms. Chandra played a strategic role as White House liaison for Bloomberg TV during the Presidential transition in 2016. Prior to Bloomberg, Emma was a senior broadcast journalist at the BBC’s flagship Six and Ten O’clock News bulletins, where she covered economics, business, and politics. Ms. Chandra holds an M.B.A. from the Imperial College Business School, a B.A. in modern history and politics from the University of Oxford, and a postgraduate diploma in Journalism from City University London.

Mr. Charte joined CD&R’s global investor relations team in 2022. Previously, he worked on Vista Equity Partner’s fundraising team, where he helped manage capital campaigns across the equity and credit platforms. Mr. Compton became a partner at the Firm in 2015 having served as an operating advisor since 2013. Mr. Compton is a 29-year veteran and former president of PepsiCo, Inc. and former chairman of US Foods. Mr. Compton’s career at PepsiCo started at Frito-Lay in 1983. In 2002, after serving in positions of increasing responsibility in a variety of operational and sales capacities, he was appointed vice chairman and president of Frito-Lay North America. Mr. Compton went on to serve as CEO of PepsiCo Americas Foods, which included Frito-Lay North America, Quaker Oats brands, and all of PepsiCo’s Latin American food and snack businesses. He serves on the board of First Horizon National Corporation, is chair of the board at The University of Tennessee, and was previously on the board of the Pepsi Bottling Group, Inc.

Mr. Conway is vice chairman of CD&R and the chairman of the Firm’s Investment Committee, which evaluates all potential new investments. He served as managing partner of CD&R from 2004 to 2015. Throughout his 26 years at the Firm, Mr. Conway has been active in many of the Firm’s investments and organizational initiatives and works closely with the CEO on all aspects of the Firm’s operations. Previously, Mr. Conway was a senior member of the mergers and acquisitions department of Goldman Sachs & Co. and later, chief of staff of the investment banking division.
Mr. Conway has been with CD&R for 30 years and serves as Vice Chairman. He is on the Investment, Operating Review, and Compliance Committees. Mr. Conway previously served as managing partner of the Firm from 2004 to 2015, as a member of the management committee, and as the founding Chair of the Investment Committee, a position he held from 2000 to 2023. In his nearly 30 years at the firm, he has been involved with a wide variety of firm processes and initiatives, including new investments, exits, fundraising, and recruitment and talent development. Before joining CD&R, Mr. Conway worked at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he was elected a partner after holding several senior leadership roles, including chief of staff of the investment banking division and serving as a senior member of the mergers and acquisitions department. He serves on the board of trustees of the Carnegie Corporation of New York and the New York Catholic Foundation for the Archdiocese of New York, as well as several other boards and charitable and civic roles. Mr. Conway has a J.D. and an M.B.A. from Columbia University and a B.A. in economics and political science from Amherst College.

Ms. Davoodi joined CD&R in 2023 as a Senior Associate on the CD&R Foundation team. Prior to joining CD&R, she was the Vice President of Development at uAspire, a national non-profit organization ensuring that all young people have the financial information and resources necessary to find an affordable path to and through college. Mr. Franco joined CD&R in 2006 after advising the Firm for 15 years. He is responsible for managing relationships with critical external stake-holders, including limited partners. He leads the fundraising team and is involved in related capital access activities. He serves on the board of the Private Capital Research Institute, a not-for-profit corporation focused on advancing the understanding of private capital’s role in the global economy. Previously, Mr. Franco served as chairman and CEO of Broadgate Consultants, an advisor to private equity managers, which he founded in 1987 in conjunction with U.K.-based securities firm, Hoare Govett. He has successfully launched a global publishing business, PEI Media, serving the alternative asset industry and, earlier, practiced corporate law.

Mr. Glaser joined CD&R in 2023 after holding senior positions in commercial insurance and insurance brokerage across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East for more than four decades, most recently as President and CEO of Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC). Mr. Glaser held a series of senior leadership roles at MMC, including Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Marsh, interim CEO of Mercer, and Group President and Chief Operating Officer before becoming President and CEO in 2013. Earlier in his career, Mr. Glaser acted as the President and Chief Operating Officer of the Willis Risk Solutions business and served in senior roles at AIG, including leading its UK and Ireland business. Mr. Glaser formerly served as the Chairman of the US Federal Advisory Committee on Insurance and the Board of Trustees for the Institutes, and as co-chair of the International Advisory Board of British American Business. He also served on the Executive Committee of the Partnership for New York City. Mr. Glaser is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. Mr. Gogel is in his 32nd year with the Firm. He served as chief executive officer from 1998 to 2019 and has served as chairman since 2012. Mr. Gogel is a member of the Investment Committee and plays an active role in shaping the Firm’s strategy, recruiting talent, sourcing new investment opportunities, participating in portfolio company operating reviews, and leading CEO roundtables. Earlier in his career with CD&R, Mr. Gogel led several investments that established the Firm’s reputation for navigating and completing complex carve-outs from major corporations, including the Lexmark International acquisition from IBM, which was named by Private Equity International as one of the 30 most influential private equity deals of all time. Other notable transactions were divestitures from Phillip Morris/Kraft (Alliant Foods), General Motors (Allison Engine), Gillette (Jafra Cosmetics), Xerox (Van Kampen), and Westinghouse (WESCO). He previously was a partner at McKinsey & Company, Inc. and a managing director at Kidder, Peabody & Company, Inc. where he founded and led its merchant banking group.
Mr. Gogel is in his 35th year with the Firm. He was Chief Executive Officer from 1998 to 2019 and has served as Chairman since 2012. Ms. Machida joined CD&R in 2024 in a newly created position to bring additional capability to support our investment teams' focus on talent across the investment life cycle. Ms. Machida has more than 25 years of experience in direct investing, management consulting and building businesses. Most recently, she was a Partner at PwC where she led the practice that advises private equity clients on their talent decisions. Prior to that, Ms. Machida was a Partner and Managing Director at IMB Partners, where she played a lead role in talent due diligence, post-close strategic planning and in partnering with management teams to execute value creation initiatives. Prior to IMB, she was the co-founder, Chief Business Officer and Board Chair at a start-up medical diagnostic technology company called Sevident. Ms. Machida was also a Principal at Booz & Co. (now PwC Strategy) and Katzenbach Partners. She started her career at Watson Wyatt (now Willis Towers Watson) as a human capital and compensation consultant. Mr. Moore joined CD&R in 2021 as President of the CD&R Foundation. Prior to this, he was the Chief Operating Officer at COOP Careers, a national non-profit focused on helping first-generation college graduates secure employment in the digital economy. He also served in leadership roles at HERE to HERE, The James and Judith K. Dimon Foundation, Year Up, Guttman Community College (CUNY), and other mission-aligned organizations. Mr. Novak has been with CD&R for 25 years and is a member of the Investment Committee. Based in London, he is responsible for the Firm’s European business and international activities. Mr. Richards is the co-founder and former CEO of naviHealth, a leader in leveraging technology to improve post-acute care in partnership with health plans, hospital systems, risk-bearing physician groups, and other healthcare providers. Mr. Richards directed strategic vision and executive leadership of the organization from its inception in late 2011 until December 2021. Under Mr. Richards’ leadership, naviHealth expanded significantly and was ultimately acquired by UnitedHealth Group in 2020. Mr. Rozet joined CD&R in 2022 and is engaged in accelerating digital value creation across the portfolio and executing technical diligence. Mr. Selib joined CD&R in 2022 and serves as Global External Affairs Leader. Prior to joining CD&R, Mr. Selib was the Senior Vice President of Global Policy & Public Affairs at Pfizer. Prior to joining Pfizer, Mr. Selib was a Partner at Hakluyt & Company, a London based commercial strategy firm. Before entering the private sector, he spent 12 years in the U.S. Senate. Mr. Sridhara was most recently the Chief Operations Officer of Eurowag, a leading pan-European integrated payments and mobility platform focused on the commercial road transportation (CRT) industry. Prior to Eurowag, he was the Chief Technology Officer of Careem, a super-app for the greater Middle East region which became a wholly owned subsidiary of Uber in 2020. He also previously held Chief Information Officer, Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer roles at Hepsiburada, TUI Group, Landbrokes PLC and Sabre Corporation. Mr. Stroup served as the Executive Chairman of Belden (NYSE: BDC), a global supplier of specialty networking solutions for broadband, enterprise, and industrial markets from May 2020 to February 2021. Prior to his role as Executive Chairman, Mr. Stroup had been the President and Chief Executive Officer since 2005. Prior to joining Belden, Mr. Stroup was employed by Danaher Corporation. He initially served as Vice President, Business Development and was promoted to President of a division of Danaher’s Motion Group and later to Group Executive of the Motion Group. Prior to his time at Danaher, he was Vice President of Marketing with Scientific Technologies Inc. Mr. Tinkler joined CD&R in 2022 as legal advisor, based in London. Previously, he was a Partner at Clifford Chance, an international law firm, and worked closely with CD&R LLP on a range of transactions. Mr. Tinkler joined Clifford Chance in 1995, becoming a partner in 2000 and later serving in various leadership roles, including head of HR for the London Corporate Practice and Head of London Corporate Practice. Mr. Tuohy joined CD&R in 2020. He is responsible for insurance and risk management at the Firm, and is the liaison between the insurance brokers, risk advisors, insurance companies and the portfolio companies. Previously, Mr. Tuohy spent 27 years in top tier consulting, mostly at PwC, where he was a partner in the Transaction Services business and led their US strategy practice. While working in his own business, he was interim CEO of a regional insurance brokerage.

Ms. Williams joined CD&R in 2023 and is based in Europe. She works closely with CD&R's European investment team to evaluate the sustainability programs of the Firm’s portfolio companies in the UK and Europe. Ms. Williams has over 15 years’ experience in responsible business and impact, including as a Senior Director at FTI Consulting, where she advised on corporate strategy projects and helped financial services, healthcare, and industrials clients devise and implement sustainability programs and improve operational performance. Prior to FTI, Ms. Williams worked at the International Rescue Committee, Oxfam, and the Allegra Foundation. Ms. Williams has an M.B.A. from Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge, an M.Sc. in global governance and ethics from University College London, and a B.Sc. in economics and government from the London School of Economics.

Mr. Winokur joined CD&R in 2022. He leads CD&R’s financial services vertical and is focused on sourcing and evaluating investments across the Insurance, Wealth & Retirement Services, Banking & Credit, and Fintech sectors. Prior to CD&R, he was a Managing Director at TowerBrook Capital Partners, where he led the firm’s efforts in financial services. At TowerBrook, Mr. Winokur helped to establish and develop its financial services strategy having sourced and led numerous investments within financial services and playing a key role in recruitment and talent development. Earlier in his career, he was an investment professional at Aquiline Capital Partners and an analyst in the Financial Institutions Group at BlackRock. Mr. Winokur holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with distinction from Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
